Mothership RPG Review

We played a few sessions of Mothership and then immediately gathered around the microphone like a group of nervous space janitors who just opened the wrong airlock. In this episode of the Jaunty Mantis, we poke, prod, and lovingly scream about the sci-fi horror RPG from Tuesday Knight Games.

What happens when a game wants your character to panic, spiral, and probably die in a dark hallway on a mining ship. Good question. We talk about the stress system, the fast rules, the weird little design choices that make the game feel like a lost VHS tape from a 1980s space horror movie. Sometimes brilliant. Sometimes cruel. Often hilarious.
